Job Title: Well Intervention Manager – PCE & Slickline Tools
Reporting to: Regional Manager (MENA)
Nature of the Position: Fixed Term Contract
Location: JAFZA Dubai UAE
Role Overview:
The Job Holder is responsible for the overall management of Hunting Pressure Control Equipment, Slickline and Well Intervention business within the Midde East, North Africa (MENA) and Asia Pacific (APAC) region.
The position demands a high degree of responsibility for developing, supporting and expanding the PCE department in line with the Company’s strategic objectives. Critical decision-making skills are required to evaluate prospective business opportunities; including consideration of commercial, contractual, political and financial risks within a high pressure dynamic working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing and delivering an aggressive PCE sales, service and rental business strategy in collaboration with senior management to achieve sustained growth, increased market share and increased profitability in line with company targets.
- Supporting the team on all technical, operational and commercial matters as required.
- Visiting customers throughout the region to understand their requirements, identify opportunities and deliver sales presentations.
- Aiming to meet or exceed customer expectations and ensuring that customer satisfaction levels are kept as high as possible.
- Identifying opportunities for operational efficiencies and continuous improvement.
- Contributing to annual budget setting exercise and taking ownership for achievement of the approved budget for the product line, including monthly analysis of performance against budget.
- Maintaining strong working relationships and collaboration with other Hunting entities (US, UK, KSA).
- Maintaining up to date technical expertise and keeping abreast of latest industry developments.
- Raising the profile of Hunting Energy Services and promoting all of the company’s services to facilitate MENA market share increase.
- Taking overall responsibility for fulfilment of relevant compliance requirements for the PCE department including, but not limited to, credit control, contract review, sanctions compliance and inventory control.
- Communicating effectively with Regional team to ensure expectations are understood and achieved.
Additional Responsibilities
- Promoting Hunting Health, Safety and Environmental policies, and communicating effective awareness of the risks and hazards to all personnel and maintain controls necessary for their safety and that of others
- Developing self within role and participating in and developing from training and developmental activities assigned to oneself
- Establishing self as a subject matter expert with customer and expert in designated technical/professional discipline
- Ad hoc duties as reasonably required from time to time
Managing People (those with direct reports)

- Developing measures to ensure individuals meet objectives, monitoring and appraising performance and giving regular feedback in a constructive manner
- Recognising symptoms and the causes of conflict amongst individuals and team and acting effectively to resolve conflicts, minimising disruption to the operation of the department, team and individuals
Qualifications/Skills and Experience:
- A minimum of 10 years technical and commercial experience within the Wireline/Slickline/PCE industry segments, including experience of managing a team
- Knowledgeable about the Company’s products and services
- Excellent working knowledge of MS Office applications and ERP system, ideally MS Dynamics 365
- A formal qualification in a Business Management or Technical discipline
- Sales, presentational and business development skills.
- Strong work ethic and personal accountability for ensuring that tasks and projects are delivered on time and to a high standard.
- Valid UAE Driving Licence
