Academic Counselor & Admin Coordinator- Immediate
Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and empathetic Academic Counselor & Admin Coordinator to support students in their academic journey while managing key administrative functions. This dual-role professional will provide academic guidance, coordinate student records, and ensure smooth day-to-day operations within the academic office.
Key Responsibilities
Academic Counseling
- Advise students on course selection, academic planning, and graduation requirements
- Monitor student progress and provide intervention strategies when needed
- Support students with time management, study skills, and career exploration
- Conduct orientation sessions and academic workshops
- Refer students to appropriate support services (mental health, tutoring, etc.)
Administrative Coordination
- Maintain accurate student records and update databases
- Prepare reports, schedules, and documentation for academic reviews
- Coordinate meetings, events, and workshops for the academic department
- Handle student inquiries via email, phone, and walk-ins
- Assist with registration, transcript requests, and graduation applications
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Counseling, Psychology, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in academic advising or student services
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and student information systems (e.g., SIS, CRM)
- Ability to multitask and maintain confidentiality
- Empathy, patience, and a student-first mindset
Preferred Skills
- Experience in higher education administration
- Familiarity with career counseling tools and techniques
- Fluency in multiple languages
- Knowledge of academic policies and procedures

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED3,000.00 per month
