Job Description:
Tadbeer – a government-approved center for domestic worker services – is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to manage financial operations and ensure accurate reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, a good understanding of UAE labor service-related transactions, and the ability to manage daily financial activities efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, invoicing, and petty cash
- Prepare monthly financial statements and reports
- Monitor and reconcile bank transactions and balances
- Ensure compliance with VAT regulations and prepare VAT filings
- Manage payroll processing and employee benefit records
- Maintain accurate records for audits and government inspections
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure financial accuracy
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
- Prepare year-end closing reports
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum 0-2 years of accounting experience in the UAE (Tadbeer or Government services industry experience preferred)
- Strong knowledge of UAE VAT laws and payroll processes
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or ERP systems)
- Strong MS Excel and reporting skills
- High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills
- Good communication skills in English (Arabic is an advantage)
- Currently based in the UAE and available to join immediately or on short notice
Working Hours:
Saturday to Thursday, 10 AM to 7 PM
