We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Assistant Accountant to support our finance department with day-to-day accounting tasks. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing financial statements and reports
- Record daily financial transactions and reconcile accounts
- Process invoices, payments, and expense reports
- Support month-end and year-end close processes
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records
- Assist with audits and other accounting projects as required
- Perform data entry and administrative tasks related to accounting
Requirements:
- Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 2 years of accounting experience preferred (UAE experience is a plus)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g Focus)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications:
- Female
- Familiarity with UAE tax regulations and financial compliance
- With UAE driving license
- Willing to relocate in Al Ain
