Job Summary:
Packwell Manufacturing is seeking a skilled Aluminium Container Pressing Operator to support our production line. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining aluminium pressing machines to ensure efficient, safe, and high-quality production of aluminium containers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate aluminium pressing machines according to job specifications.
- Feed raw aluminium material into the machine and monitor the pressing process.
- Adjust machine settings to ensure consistent quality and avoid production defects.
- Conduct quality checks on finished containers and separate defective units.
- Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting on machines.
- Ensure production targets are met while minimizing material wastage.
- Follow all safety guidelines and wear appropriate PPE.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Accurately record production output and machine status reports.
- Collaborate with the maintenance, QA, and other production team members as needed.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience operating pressing or forming machines (preferably aluminium container machines).
- Knowledge of industrial safety practices and machine operation standards.
- Ability to read and interpret basic technical drawings or specifications.
- Physically fit with the ability to stand for long hours and handle repetitive tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining product quality.
