We are a catering company based out here in Dubai and we are looking for a experienced and passionate assistant cook-Indian/Chinese to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of Indo- Chinese cuisines with a focus on authenticity and creativity. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes, ensuring that the flavors and presentation meet our company's Standards
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare daily meals according to dietary requirements and preferences.
- Plan and develop diverse menus for Indian, Chinese, and Thai cuisines.
- Maintain the highest standards of kitchen cleanliness and organization.
- Source and manage the procurement of high-quality ingredients.
- Stay updated with culinary trends and techniques.
- Cater to special occasions and dietary restrictions as needed.
- Manage inventory and ensure proper storage of ingredient
Qualifications and requirements:
- Proven experience as a Assistant Cook/Chef with a focus on Indian, Chinese, and Thai cuisines.
- Culinary school diploma or equivalent professional experience.
- Strong understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, and equipment.
- Excellent taste and creativity with food presentation.
- Ability to manage time efficiently and handle multiple tasks.
- Excellent hygiene practices and knowledge of food safety standards.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
