KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Finance
- Ensure accurate stock receiving and issuing to minimize inventory variances.
- Support periodic stock counts and reconciliation to reduce stock loss and report discrepancies.
- Assist in minimizing product wastage through proper storage and rotation (FIFO/FEFO).
- Maintain updated records of stock movement for audit and compliance purposes.
Customer
- Coordinate timely and accurate deliveries to stores as per the dispatch schedule.
- Ensure that delivery notes, invoices, and supporting documents are properly handled and acknowledged.
- Support store requests for urgent stock requirements and communicate stock availability clearly.
Internal Process
- Receive, store, and issue stock items in line with company SOPs.
- Monitor inventory levels and provide daily/weekly reports to the Store Keeper and relevant departments.
- Ensure cleanliness, orderliness, and proper labeling within the store area.
- Assist in checking incoming materials for quality, quantity, and damage.
- Comply with health, safety, and hygiene standards at all times.
- Support in inventory system data entry and stock updating.
People
- Collaborate with logistics and operations teams to ensure smooth stock flow.
- Participate in training sessions related to safety, product knowledge, and warehouse systems.
- Maintain a professional and cooperative relationship with internal stakeholders (e.g., store staff, supply chain team).
- Provide support to new joiners or temporary staff in understanding inventory procedures.
- Maintaining effective communication channels with internal and external stakeholders.
QUALIFICATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
- Experience in handling warehouse operations, inventory control, and fleet management.
- Valid UAE driving license is required.
- Oracle ERP background is an advantage
- At least 2 years of experience working in the UAE's frozen food industry.
- Experience in ice cream logistics or warehouse management is advantageous.
- Proficient in analyzing financial data, inventory reports, and key performance indicators to make informed decisions and recommendations.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team effectively.
- Thorough understanding of local and international regulations governing warehouse operations, food handling, and health & safety standards.
