- Supervise daily activities of technicians and mechanics on the service floor.
- Assign work orders and monitor progress to ensure timely completion.
- Inspect and test completed work for quality assurance.
- Provide technical guidance and support to technicians.
- Enforce safety protocols and cleanliness of the workshop.
- Communicate with service advisors and customers as needed regarding work status.
- Maintain equipment and tools in good condition.
- Train and mentor new technicians.
- Oversee assembly line or production floor staff.
- Monitor production schedules and workflows.
- Ensure adherence to quality control standards.
- Report any production delays or issues to upper management.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing practices.
- Perform performance evaluations and support HR functions.
- Enforce occupational safety and health regulations.
