Key Responsibilities:
As our Barbershop Manager, you'll be at the heart of our operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly and our shop continues to thrive. Your responsibilities will include:
* Team Leadership & Development:
* Managing Barbers: Oversee daily operations, including scheduling, performance management, and conflict resolution.
* Training & Mentorship: Provide ongoing training and support to barbers, ensuring consistent high-quality services and adherence to Afroshave standards.
* Fostering a Positive Environment: Cultivate a collaborative, respectful, and energetic atmosphere for both staff and clients.
* Operational Excellence:
* Shop Maintenance & Cleanliness: Ensure the barbershop is consistently clean, organized, and well-maintained, upholding our high standards for hygiene and presentation.
* Inventory Management: Monitor and manage product inventory, placing orders as needed and minimizing waste.
* Client Satisfaction: Address client feedback and ensure a consistently positive experience.
* Financial Management:
* Accounting & Reporting: Oversee daily transactions, manage cash flow, and prepare regular financial reports.
* Budgeting: Assist in developing and managing budgets to ensure profitability and efficiency.
* Social Media & Marketing:
* Social Media Advertising: Develop and execute engaging social media strategies to promote Afroshave, attract new clients, and highlight our services and talented barbers.
* Content Creation: Coordinate with barbers to create compelling photo and video content showcasing our work.
* Online Engagement: Monitor and respond to online reviews and inquiries, maintaining our strong online presence.
* Vibe Management:
* Curating the Atmosphere: Ensure the shop's ambiance (music, decor, general feel) consistently reflects the Afroshave brand and provides a comfortable, inviting, and cool experience for all.
* Client Engagement: Lead by example in creating a friendly and engaging environment where clients feel valued and part of the Afroshave family.
Qualifications:
* Proven experience in a management role, preferably within the barbering, salon, or retail industry.
* Strong understanding of barbershop operations and services.
* Proficiency in social media platforms and experience with digital advertising.
* Solid grasp of basic accounting principles and financial management.
* Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* A keen eye for detail and a commitment to cleanliness and organization.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
