Job Title: Barista

Job Summary:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-oriented Barista to prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including specialty coffee and tea. The ideal candidate will deliver outstanding customer service, maintain a clean and welcoming environment, and ensure every drink meets quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve coffee and tea beverages (espresso, lattes, cappuccinos, cold brews, etc.)
- Follow recipes and presentation standards consistently
- Greet and interact with customers in a friendly and efficient manner
- Take customer orders and handle payments accurately using POS systems
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar and workstations
- Restock supplies (beans, milk, cups, syrups, etc.) as needed
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Support in opening and closing duties
- Assist with training new baristas when required
- Upsell café products and provide product knowledge to customers
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a barista or in a customer-facing food service role preferred
- Knowledge of coffee brewing equipment (espresso machines, grinders, milk frothers)
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible schedule, including availability on weekends and holidays
Preferred Skills:
- Passion for coffee and hospitality
- Latte art skills a plus
- Basic food handling or barista training certification is an advantage
