We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Bodyshop Supervisor with hands-on expertise in managing repairs and refinishing of premium and luxury vehicles. The ideal candidate will oversee daily operations in the bodyshop, ensure high-quality repair standards, manage workflow, and lead a team of technicians while maintaining customer satisfaction and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate day-to-day bodyshop operations, ensuring timely and accurate completion of repair jobs.
- Oversee repair and paint processes for premium and luxury vehicles, ensuring manufacturer standards and quality benchmarks are met.
- Allocate work to bodyshop technicians, painters, and polishers, ensuring productivity and workflow efficiency.
- Monitor repair estimates, job cards, and ensure accurate documentation for insurance and customer purposes.
- Conduct regular inspections and final quality checks on vehicles before delivery.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations within the workshop.
- Train, motivate, and guide team members, promoting continuous improvement and skill development.
- Liaise with service advisors, parts department, and insurance representatives to ensure smooth coordination.
- Handle customer concerns related to body repairs and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Manage tools, equipment, and resources to ensure proper usage and availability.
- Prepare reports on productivity, performance, and job completion timelines.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in a bodyshop environment, with at least 2–3 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong background in repairing and refinishing premium / luxury vehicle brands (e.g., Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Audi, Porsche, etc.).
- In-depth knowledge of bodyshop processes including panel beating, dent removal, spray painting, polishing, and refinishing.
- Familiarity with modern bodyshop tools, repair equipment, and paint systems.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to read and interpret repair estimates and technical drawings.
- Understanding of insurance repair procedures and standards is an advantage.
