2.1 Checks the authenticity of police report and prepare quote for accident as per the police report
2.2 Ensure all documents are collected from clients and are in order before opening a job card and making a claim
2.3 Examines damaged vehicle to determine extent of structural, body, mechanical or interior damage.
2.4 Estimates cost of labor and parts to repair or replace each damaged item.
2.5 Reviews repair cost estimates with Insurance Surveyor.
2.6 Ensure that Surveyor has agreed for a repair cost and is documented in the estimate before start of repair.
2.7 Negotiate with Surveyor for getting optimum approval in each and every repair
2.8 Determines feasibility of repair versus replacement of parts, such as bumpers, fenders and doors and advice body shop accordingly
2.9 Evaluates practicality of repair as opposed to vehicle market value before accident.
2.10 Negotiates with Insurance to get certificate for Total loss vehicles
2.11 Estimates cost of repainting or customizing undamaged vehicles.
2.12 Take relevant photographs of accident vehicle before and after repair and keep records of the same
2.13 Follow up for LPO from Insurance companies/ work order from group companies
2.14 Follow up for removal of salvages in case of total loss
2.15 Other tasks as assigned.
