Brand Manager – Global Market Expertise
Location:
- Jebel Ali Free Zone, Dubai, UAE.
- (Candidates must be currently residing in the UAE.)
Employment Type:
- Permanent Contract (2 years) with visa sponsorship.
- 6-month probation period. On-site role (no remote option).
Reporting To: Global Marketing Director.
Role Summary:
The Brand Manager will act as a key executor within the Global Marketing Team, responsible for managing multiple concurrent projects related to packaging design, POSM development, trade marketing support, and NPD market research. This role demands strong project management, vendor coordination, and cross-functional collaboration skills. The successful candidate will push projects from initiation through to delivery across 20+ international markets, with minimal supervision from the Global Marketing Director.
Key Responsibilities:
- Full project management of packaging and POSM development.
- Collaboration with vendors and in-house creative teams.
- Drafting creative briefs and supervising project execution.
- Supporting market research and NPD (New Product Development) inputs.
- Budget monitoring and reporting for assigned projects.
- Overseeing project stages with detailed documentation.
- Managing internal documentation (NDAs, POs, data logs, etc.).
- Cross-department collaboration (5+ internal departments).
- Coordinating with local market teams and international distributors. Liaising with non-marketing teams to identify and address local market needs.
Education:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Brand Marketing, Management, or Social Sciences. Graduate from a Western university (Europe/UK, USA/Canada, Australia/Singapore)- Preferred.
Required Experience:
- Minimum 3 years in the tobacco industry (mandatory).
- FMCG background is a strong advantage.
- Experience working in smaller/mid-sized companies with broad responsibilities.
- Proven cross-functional project management experience.
- Exposure to export markets and multicultural teams. Understanding of tobacco industry marketing restrictions and regulations.
Technical Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience with ERP/CRM systems (e.g., Odoo, SAP).
- Understanding of print production (packaging, POSMs). Basic knowledge of Adobe tools is a plus.
