Job Opportunity: Camp Boss (Construction/Contracting Industry)

We are currently looking for a proactive and experienced Camp Boss to manage the day-to-day operations of a labor camp supporting large-scale construction or contracting projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in camp management, excellent leadership skills, and a solid understanding of health, safety, and labor compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all aspects of camp operations, including accommodation, housekeeping, catering, security, and facility maintenance.
- Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards are maintained across the camp at all times.
- Maintain discipline and a high standard of living conditions for all residents.
- Coordinate with HR, Admin, and Project teams for staff movements, allocations, and logistics.
- Handle resident concerns, disputes, or emergencies in a professional and timely manner.
- Keep records of occupancy, maintenance, supplies, and incident reports.
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws, health regulations, and company policies.
Key Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the construction or contracting sector.
- Strong leadership and personnel management skills.
- Proven experience managing large labor camps with diverse nationalities.
- In-depth knowledge of hygiene and camp safety standards, along with familiarity with local labor laws.
- Strong coordination skills with internal departments like HR, Admin, and Projects.
- Proficiency in English (spoken and written); knowledge of additional languages is an asset.
- Excellent problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
