Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Camp Incharge to oversee and manage all aspects of our construction site accommodation facilities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation, safety, and maintenance of the camp infrastructure, as well as managing catering, housekeeping, utilities, and other support services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day operations of the labor/staff camp.
- Oversee accommodation assignments and ensure all facilities are in good condition.
- Ensure hygiene, cleanliness, and safety standards are met across the camp.
- Coordinate with vendors for catering, laundry, housekeeping, and waste disposal services.
- Monitor camp inventory and supplies including food, water, cleaning materials, etc.
- Handle any staff or labor issues related to accommodation and resolve complaints promptly.
- Maintain camp discipline and ensure compliance with health, safety, and company policies.
- Prepare and submit periodic reports on camp status, maintenance, and operations.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing construction or labor camps.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Knowledge of health, hygiene, and safety regulations.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure.
- Familiar with basic maintenance work and camp logistics.
Preferred:
- Prior experience in large-scale infrastructure or construction projects.
- Familiarity with camp management software/tools.
