- Prepare, cook, and present dishes within your section according to the kitchen standards.
- Ensure food quality, freshness, and presentation are consistently excellent.
- Supervise and train commis chefs or junior staff working in your section.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of your workstation in compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
- Assist the Sous Chef and Head Chef in menu planning, stock control, and kitchen operations.
- Monitor portion and waste control to help manage food costs.
- Follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications.
- Communicate effectively with the rest of the kitchen team and front-of-house staff.
- Ensure all equipment is properly used, cleaned, and stored.
