We are looking for a CFO (part-time) . He will responsible for the overall financial strategy and direction of the group. This individual will lead financial planning and analysis, accounting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and risk mitigation. The CFO will provide strategic recommendations to the CEO and executive team, ensuring that financial goals are aligned with the company's vision and objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Financial Leadership
- Serve as a strategic advisor to the CEO and executive team on all financial matters.
- Develop and lead the execution of financial strategies to support growth, new locations, franchising, or M&A.
- Provide financial insight and leadership on key business decisions, including pricing strategies, vendor agreements, lease negotiations, and capital allocation.
2. Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
- Lead the annual budgeting process and establish short and long-term financial goals.
- Monitor and analyze financial performance, KPIs, and ROI metrics across all locations.
- Develop dashboards and performance reports for internal and external stakeholders.
3. Accounting & Compliance
- Oversee all accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and tax compliance.
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in accordance with GAAP and other regulatory standards.
- Coordinate annual audits and liaise with external auditors and tax advisors.
4. Cash Flow & Risk Management
- Manage cash flow, liquidity, and working capital to support day-to-day operations.
- Forecast financial risks and develop risk mitigation plans.
- Oversee insurance policies, debt covenants, and financial regulatory compliance.
- Provide financial insight and leadership on key business decisions, including pricing strategies, vendor agreements, lease negotiations, and capital allocation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA or MBA strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive financial leadership experience, including at least 3–5 years in a senior financial role within the hospitality, restaurant, or multi-unit retail industry.
- Deep understanding of restaurant financials (e.g., COGS, prime cost, P&L management).
- Proven track record in scaling businesses, managing capital expenditures, and improving financial performance.
- Proficiency with financial software and systems
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
