Job Description:
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Procurement Officer to join our Joinery division. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials specific to woodworking, carpentry, and interior fit-out projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Source and procure raw materials (e.g., timber, MDF, plywood, laminates, veneers, hardware, etc.)
- Negotiate with suppliers to secure competitive pricing and favorable terms
- Evaluate supplier performance and maintain strong vendor relationships
- Ensure timely delivery of materials to meet project deadlines
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory
- Coordinate with production, design, and project teams for material requirements
- Monitor market trends and identify cost-saving opportunities
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and quality standards
