Position Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead and optimize the daily operations of our growing organization in Dubai. As a strategic partner to the CEO, the COO will be instrumental in aligning operations with business objectives, scaling performance, and fostering a high-performance culture. This role requires a leader who is agile, hands-on, and capable of driving cross-functional excellence in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Strategic Leadership:
- Support and execute the company's long-term strategic vision, working closely with the CEO and executive team to drive sustainable growth and operational excellence.
• Operational Management:
- Oversee daily operations across different departments (e.g., Sales, Admin, Logistics, IT, etc.), ensuring efficiency, quality, productivity, and cost-effective management of resources.
• Performance Monitoring:
- Establish robust KPIs and performance metrics to track progress, identify gaps, and implement continuous improvement strategies.
• Team Development:
- Lead, mentor, and empower department heads to create a high-performance culture, attract top talent, and foster professional development.
- Budgeting & Financial Oversight:
- Work with accounts to plan budgets, monitor financial performance, and optimize operational costs without compromising service or quality.
- Stakeholder Communication:
- Act as a key liaison between internal teams and external stakeholders (partners, regulators, vendors), maintaining transparency and alignment across the organization.
• Project Execution:
- Oversee the rollout of strategic initiatives and projects, ensuring timely delivery, resource allocation, and measurable outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience (10+ years) in a senior operational or leadership role, ideally as a COO or Head of Operations.
- Strong exposure to doing business in Dubai or the GCC region; experience with UAE labor law, regulatory requirements, and business practices is essential.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field (MBA preferred).
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex organizations and large teams.
- Exceptional analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to effectively collaborate across diverse teams.
- Tech-savvy, with a modern understanding of operational tools, ERP systems, and data-driven decision-making.
