Job Overview:
Here's your chance to step into the role of Commis Chef at Riverland. In this position, you'll take on key responsibilities that include:
- To directly support the Chef de Partie/Demi Chef De Partie in the Daily operation and work.
- Prepares the daily mis-en-place and food production in your assigned section.
- To take full responsibilities of your section when your supervisor is not there.
- To work according to the menu specifications (pictures or/and portions) by Chef.
- To promote efficiency, confidence, courtesy, and an extremely high standard of social skills.
- To generally promote and ensure good inter-departmental relations.
- To always display a pleasant manner and positive attitude and to promote a good company image to guests
- and colleagues
- Pick up the store on daily basis.
- Checks periodically all products shelf life and the storage of food items areas.
- To be an example for personal hygiene and cleanliness on and off duty
- Ability to focus attention on guest needs, always remaining calm and courteous.
About you:
The preferred candidate for this role should possess the following experience and credentials:
- Secondary School / Culinary Art of cooking and dessert
- 1 - 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Flexible working hours
- Physically fit
- Must strictly always adhere to “Dubai Holding Entertainment” policies and procedures.
- Understand well the nature of the kitchen work and able to work under pressure.
- To handle any additional tasks assigned by management related to work improvement.
