With over 30 languages and countries represented by the staff, the hotel weaves together an international five-star presence.
A little taste of your day-to-day:
Your role will include but not be limited to:
- Prepare pastry items according to standardized recipes and portioning guidelines to ensure quality and consistency.
- Support the daily operations of the pastry section, including baking, assembling, and decorating desserts.
- Follow HACCP standards, ensuring safe food handling, storage, and sanitation at all times.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supporting departments to meet guest preferences and service standards.
- Assist with stock rotation, labeling, and inventory control to minimize waste and maintain product freshness.

Ideally, you'll have some or all the following qualifications and experience we're looking for
- Previous experience in a commis chef within a five-star hotel or restaurant setting.
- Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Passion for pastry and baking, with a strong desire to learn and grow within the culinary field.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and communicate effectively.
