Job Description:
We are currently hiring a Commis – Tandoor Chef with 2 to 5 years of experience in a professional kitchen specializing in Tandoor cooking.
If you have a passion for flavorful cuisine and are skilled in preparing authentic Tandoori dishes, we’d love to have you join our culinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a wide variety of Tandoori items (e.g., kebabs, naan, roti, grills)
- Operate and maintain Tandoor equipment safely and efficiently
- Ensure high-quality food presentation and portion control
- Maintain hygiene and cleanliness of the Tandoor section
- Assist with stock control and kitchen organization
- Follow food safety and sanitation procedures
Requirements:
- 2 to 5 years of proven experience in a Tandoor kitchen
- Strong knowledge of spices, marinades, and traditional Tandoor techniques.
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Able to work under pressure in a busy kitchen
