Wood is currently recruiting Construction personnel (UAE National) to join our project team on a major ADNOC project at site in Ruwais. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced engineers to develop hands-on site experience, contribute to world-class energy projects, and develop within a global leader in engineering and consulting.
As a Construction person, you will work closely with senior construction teams, discipline engineers, and project management to ensure safe and efficient execution of construction activities. This role offers strong career development potential within a dynamic project environment.
- Assist senior engineers in monitoring day-to-day construction activities at site.
- Support in reviewing drawings, specifications, and work procedures to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and site supervision teams to track progress and resolve issues.
- Participate in construction planning, scheduling, and reporting activities.
- Monitor safety compliance and quality standards on site.
- Support in preparing progress reports, site queries, and other construction-related documentation.
- Contribute to problem-solving and technical clarifications under supervision.
- Ensure all activities are carried out in line with Wood and ADNOC’s HSE policies.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical or related discipline).
- 1 - 5 years of relevant experience in construction or project engineering
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Eagerness to learn, adapt, and grow within a fast-paced project environment.
- Knowledge of construction standards, drawings, and project processes preferred.
- Safety-conscious mindset and willingness to work on site (Ruwais-based).
