To support our growth, we are seeking a highly skilled Contract Manager to oversee, streamline, and safeguard our contract lifecycle management. This is a strategic role that blends legal expertise with operational understanding, ensuring every agreement supports business continuity, compliance, and commercial success.
Position Overview
As Contract Manager, you will be responsible for managing all contractual matters related to clients, vendors, government partners, and internal stakeholders. You will ensure that all contracts are compliant with UAE legal standards, aligned with corporate objectives, and executed within deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
Contract Drafting & Negotiation
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts including service agreements, NDAs, MOUs, and vendor contracts.
- Collaborate with legal advisors to manage legal risk and align with UAE laws and corporate policies.
- Maintain version control and proper documentation throughout the contract lifecycle.
Contract Administration
- Maintain a centralized digital database for all contracts with clear indexing and tracking.
- Monitor contract timelines, renewal periods, termination clauses, and ensure timely actions.
- Ensure full compliance with RTA, labor laws, transport authority guidelines, and tax regulations.
Vendor & Client Coordination
- Coordinate with vendors, legal consultants, government entities, and clients to ensure proper execution of contract terms.
- Track service-level agreements (SLAs) and performance benchmarks across third-party relationships.
Governance & Compliance
- Support internal governance by advising departments on contract policies and procedures.
- Prepare and manage board resolutions, internal agreements, and ensure license renewals are aligned with legal requirements.
- Support audits and regulatory inspections with properly organized and updated legal documentation.
Risk Mitigation & Dispute Management
- Identify potential legal or contractual risks and recommend proactive solutions.
- Liaise with external legal counsel on disputes, claims, or litigation matters when required.
Reporting & Documentation
- Generate regular reports on contract statuses, risks, key milestones, and financial exposure.
- Assist in developing standardized templates and improving internal workflows.
Candidate ProfileEducation & Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Law, Business Administration, or related field.
- LLB or legal qualification in UAE law is highly preferred.
Experience
- 5+ years in contract management, legal advisory, or compliance, preferably within transportation, logistics, hospitality, or services sector in the UAE.
- Experience managing both client and vendor contracts.
- Knowledge of UAE civil and labor law, corporate governance, and transport regulations.
Skills
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- High attention to detail and document control.
- Strong communication skills (English is mandatory; Arabic is a plus).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with Odoo ERP or CRM tools is preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure with professionalism and integrity.
