A little taste of your day-to-day:
Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:
- Welcome all arriving guests; assist guests with front door and unloading luggage from vehicles. Alert management of any suspicious activities or characters.
- Summon taxis, shuttle drivers, or valet parking attendants upon guest request.
- Coordinate baggage handling with bell-persons and/or luggage attendants; may assist with luggage handling as necessary.
- Assist departing guest with all luggage and transportation needs; invite departing guests back to the hotel and thank them for visiting.
- Perform other duties as assigned such as ensuring the hotel entrance is free of litter and debris.
What We need from you:
High School diploma or equivalent, and one year guest service or doorperson experience preferred. Must speak fluent English. Other languages preferred.
This job requires ability to perform the following:
- Carrying, pushing, or lifting items weighing up to 100 pounds
- Handling objects such as luggage
- Bending, stooping, kneeling
OTHER
- Communication skills are utilized a significant amount of time when interacting with clients, guests and employees.
- Reading and writing abilities are utilized often when completing departmental records/logs, reading road signs, etc..
- Required to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays.
