Job Title: Draftsman
Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly skilled Draftsman with 10 years of experience in detailing, technical documentation, and site coordination. The ideal candidate will be proficient in AutoCAD and SketchUp, with a strong understanding of construction drawings, project standards, and coordination across architectural and engineering disciplines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate and detailed technical drawings, shop drawings, and as-built documentation as per project requirements.
- Coordinate closely with architects, engineers, and site teams to ensure design intent is clearly communicated and implemented.
- Assist in resolving drawing-related issues at the site and support site engineers with updated documentation.
- Review and update drawings in line with site conditions and design modifications.
- Maintain drawing logs, file management, and documentation records.
- Use AutoCAD and SketchUp to develop 2D/3D representations and visual presentations when needed.
- Ensure all drawings comply with local codes, project specifications, and quality standards.
Requirements:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in architectural or engineering drafting.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp is essential.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, detailing, and materials.
- Experience working on large-scale or complex construction projects.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in drafting.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
- Good communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
- Familiarity with local building regulations and standards is a plus.
