Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Mechanical Inspector to join our site team in Abu Dhabi. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive mechanical inspections at construction and industrial sites across the UAE, ensuring full compliance with relevant standards, specifications, and regulations.
Conduct on-site inspections of mechanical equipment, systems, and components to verify quality, safety, and compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
Inspect mechanical installations, including piping, HVAC systems, and industrial machinery, to ensure proper installation and functionality.
Identify, document, and report defects, non-conformities, and potential risks discovered during inspections.
Prepare clear and detailed inspection reports, maintaining accurate and organized records of all findings.
Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and contractors to resolve mechanical issues and ensure project alignment.
Verify timely and effective implementation of corrective actions for identified issues.
Stay current with industry codes, standards, and best practices related to mechanical systems and inspection processes.
Participate in project meetings, offering technical input and support as required.
Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols during all site activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in electrical inspection or a related field
- Proficiency in electrical codes and standards, including in-depth knowledge of UAE electrical regulations
- Extensive knowledge of electrical systems and components
- Strong ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
- Proven experience working on construction sites
- Advanced familiarity with testing equipment and inspection tools
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant inspection software
- Meticulous attention to detail with a strong commitment to safety and quality
- Comprehensive knowledge of construction industry regulations and safety standards
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to travel to various construction sites within the UAE
- Valid UAE driver's license
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
