Key Accountabilities
- Monitoring of RAN Network (2G/3G/4G/5G/FTTA Network of Nokia/Huawei/Ericsson RAN Nodes.
- Monitoring access transmissions nodes through U2000, NFMP.
- Monitoring of WiFi Access Points and OFDM wireless transmission links using monitoring tools such as PRTG, Cisco Prime.
- Network / Service Surveillance and Alarm Handling. Reporting alarm/event must be within agreed SLA as per the ticket priority.
- Monitoring RAN (Radio Access Nodes) nodes through U2000, NFMP, Nokia NetAct, Ericsson ENM. Huawei Taishan.
- Monitoring of WiFi Access Points and OFDM wireless transmission links using monitoring tools such as PRTG, Cisco Prime.
- Verification of Mobile Services after Change Request activity.
- Acting as 1st point of contact for transmission faults, isolate fault location and provide technical support to filed teams for troubleshooting.
- Must be able to perform traffic rerouting, MW links capacity upgrade and node version upgrade.
- Timely escalation of critical network issues to service partners, stakeholders, and management team as per company escalation matrix.
- Control & Support Reactive or Planned Activities.
- Performing additional tasks assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- Telecom Engineering graduate or equivalent.
Experience:
- 3-5 years of strong telecom knowledge and experience in the following technologies:
- Nokia & Huawei ATCA IGW, SBC & U2000 and NetAct
- IPTV Headend and Middleware Networks Technologies.
Skills
- strong telecom knowledge and experience in the following technologies:
- Good knowledge of Huawei, Nokia, Redline and Infinet (PTP) Wireless products.
- Good knowledge of Cisco APs (Indoor and Outdoor).
- Good knowledge on monitoring tool Huawei NCE, NFMP, PRTG and Cisco Prime.
- Good knowledge of OSS Tools (Netact, U2020, Taishan and ENM)
- Must be able to work effectively in a 24 x 7 x 365 environment.
- 3 Years of experience in Monitoring of 2G/3G/4G/5G/FTTA of Nokia/Huawei/Ericsson RAN Nodes.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks at once, to prioritize, and demonstrate excellent follow-through on each task assigned.
- Knowledge of network implementation / integration processes.
- Monitoring all day-to-day activities within Service Operations Centre.
- Good Liaison between SOC and other departments like Transport, Access Transmission, Core, Backbone Transmission, L2 of Radio Access Network.
- Ability to work under pressure and to be able to handle network crises and emergencies
- Telecom Engineering graduate or equivalent.
- Must be able to work effectively in a 24 x 7 x 365 environment.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks at once, to prioritize, and demonstrate excellent follow-through on each task assigned.
- Works well within a team and ability to build relationships cross-functionally.
- Knowledge of network implementation / integration processes.
