We are a well-established and rapidly growing company specializing in high-quality display solutions, signage, exhibitions, and graphic production. As part of our continued expansion, we are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Estimator to join our dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare BOQs and cost estimates based on concept sketches and project requirements.
- Collaborate closely with the Production Team and Project Managers to ensure accurate cost projections.
- Source and coordinate with local suppliers and vendors for raw materials and services.
- Evaluate supplier performance in terms of quality, cost-efficiency, and reliability.
- Resolve vendor-related issues professionally and efficiently.
- Stay informed about local market rates, materials, and industry pricing trends.
- Interpret technical documents, proposals, and drawings to determine labor, materials, and time requirements.
- Prepare and submit accurate quotations and cost details.
- Assist with tendering and bidding processes for new contracts.
- Monitor project costs to ensure alignment with approved budgets.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the UAE/GCC in a similar role within the advertising, exhibitions, signage, or interior fit-out industries.
- Proven experience in local purchasing and supplier negotiation.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
- Keen attention to detail and the ability to work well under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
- Proficient in AutoCAD is mandatory.
- Skilled in MS Excel, Word, and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Immediate availability is preferred.
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills to secure competitive pricing from vendors and suppliers.
- Comprehensive understanding of local regulations and industry standards for cost estimation.
