Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage financial records, ensure compliance with UAE regulations, and support internal and external reporting requirements. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of accounting principles, UAE VAT laws, and proficiency in financial software.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and accounts.
- Process accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and payroll.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Monitor and report on cash flow, budgets, and expenditures.
- Handle VAT returns, ensure compliance with FTA (Federal Tax Authority) regulations, and assist with audits.
- Maintain general ledger and support month-end and year-end close processes.
- Liaise with external auditors, banks, and regulatory authorities.
- Assist in forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS and local UAE financial regulations.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of accounting experience (UAE experience preferred).
- Strong knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and FTA filings.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho Books, or ERP systems).
- Familiarity with IFRS and UAE labor laws related to payroll and gratuity.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
