We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles and practices, with the ability to accurately maintain financial records and provide insightful analysis.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of the accounting cycle, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, and financial reporting
- Prepare and review financial statements and reports in accordance with GAAP standards
- Perform monthly reconciliations of bank statements and other financial accounts
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
- Analyze financial data and provide recommendations for process improvements and cost-saving initiatives
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, company and legal policies
- Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support business objectives
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA certification is an advantage but not mandatory
- 2+ years of experience in accounting or related field
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Special Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and MS Office
- Experience in VAT filing and Corporate VAT compliance
- Ability to manage and handle all company accounts independently
- Previous UAE work experience is a must
- Must be able to join immediately
