We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Operations Executive to join our team and oversee the efficient execution of waste management operations.
Job Responsibilities:
- Waste Collection Management: Perform waste collection activities from clients as per contractual agreements, ensuring timely and efficient service delivery.
- Scheduling and Route Optimization: Create and maintain effective schedules for waste collection that align with client expectations and waste generation patterns. Develop optimized routes to minimize travel time and reduce trip costs.
- Municipality Software Compliance: Accurately complete all waste collection procedures and documentation on the Municipality software, ensuring all regulatory requirements are met.
- Waste Disposal Coordination: Coordinate with the appropriate disposal facilities to ensure proper handling and disposal of waste, adhering to environmental standards and regulations.
- Operational Efficiency Evaluation: Regularly evaluate the performance of waste management operations, identifying areas for improvement in processes, resource allocation, and logistics to increase efficiency.
- Reporting and Billing Support: Provide detailed reports on operational activities, including collection statistics, route efficiency, and any issues encountered. Submit reports to the Accounts team for accurate billing and invoicing.
- Client Communication: Maintain effective communication with clients to ensure satisfaction with services and address any operational concerns or service-related issues.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in waste management operations, logistics, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of waste collection processes, scheduling, and route optimization.
- Familiarity with Municipality software and regulatory requirements related to waste management.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills to ensure smooth operations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet operational goals.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, internal teams, and external stakeholders.
- High school diploma or equivalent required (Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Logistics, or related field preferred).
- Previous experience in the waste management or environmental sector is highly desirable.
