Fleet Monitoring Officer / Fleet Coordinator
Job Summary
As a Fleet Monitoring Officer or Fleet Coordinator, you’ll manage day-to-day fleet operations with a focus on real-time GPS tracking, vehicle maintenance, regulatory compliance, cost control, and performance reporting. Your goal is to ensure a safe, efficient, and cost-effective vehicle fleet.
Key Responsibilities
- GPS & Real-Time Monitoring
- Track vehicle locations, analyze driver behavior (e.g., speed, idle time), and manage alerts from GPS systems. Troubleshoot technical issues and escalate to the appropriate teams.
- Maintenance & Compliance
- Schedule and oversee vehicle maintenance, inspections, licensing, and registrations. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations .
- Fuel & Cost Management
Monitor consumption, manage suppliers, identify cost-saving opportunities, and prepare fuel and expense reports.
- Record-Keeping & Reporting
Maintain accurate logs of fleet activities—maintenance, incidents, fuel usage—and generate regular performance reports for stakeholders.
- Operational Coordination
- Assign vehicles and drivers, optimize routes, manage breakdowns or emergencies, and liaise with vendors for repairs and maintenance contracts.
- Safety & Incident Management
- Conduct safety inspections, investigate incidents or accidents, and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Education: required; a bachelor’s degree.
- Experience: Minimum 2–3 years in fleet management in transportation and constructions company as related roles.
- Skills:
- Proficient in GPS/fleet management software and Microsoft Office.
- Strong organizational, multitasking, analytical, and communication abilities.
- Familiarity with transportation regulations and safety standards.
- Language: Hindi, English,
