Job Summary
We are looking for a hands-on Fleet Supervisor to manage our fleet of trucks and drivers. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing truck maintenance, ensuring driver discipline, coordinating repairs, maintaining records, and ensuring the smooth daily operations of our fleet.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and schedule regular maintenance and servicing of trucks.
- Handle breakdowns and repairs by finding garages/mechanics at the best price and time.
- Maintain vehicle documents, registrations, passing, and insurance schedules.
- Track fuel efficiency, mileage, and vehicle expenses.
- Supervise drivers, ensuring proper conduct, uniforms, attendance, and discipline.
- Maintain driver performance records and assign trips efficiently.
- Handle RTA, insurance, and police-related documentation when needed.
- Report daily status of each vehicle to the management.
- Ensure safety standards and fleet compliance with UAE transport laws.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in fleet supervision or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of UAE truck maintenance, RTA processes, and road rules.
- Fluent in Hindi and basic English; Arabic is a plus.
- Ability to work flexible hours and attend to breakdowns after hours if required.
- Strong negotiation skills for dealing with garages, workshops, and drivers.
- Must have basic computer/smartphone skills to update records.
