Position Summary:
Arrowwood Resort & Conference Center is seeking an experienced and dynamic Food and Beverage Manager to oversee all food and beverage operations across our resort. This includes our restaurant, bar, room service, banquets, special events, and seasonal outlets. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with a passion for hospitality, strong team management skills, and a commitment to delivering an exceptional guest dining experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all day-to-day food and beverage operations, ensuring excellent service standards and operational efficiency
- Supervise restaurant, bar, banquet, and catering teams, including scheduling, training, and performance management
- Ensure all F&B outlets are operating in accordance with health, safety, and sanitation standards
- Monitor inventory, order supplies, and maintain proper stock levels while managing costs
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef on menu planning, pricing, and food quality control
- Work closely with the Events and Sales teams to coordinate banquets, weddings, conferences, and special functions
- Analyze sales and labor reports, and implement strategies to maximize revenue and control expenses
- Respond promptly to guest feedback and resolve service issues to maintain high satisfaction levels
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and presentation of all dining areas and service stations
- Assist in developing and implementing standard operating procedures and training programs
- Foster a positive, team-oriented work culture focused on accountability and guest service excellence
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3–5 years of progressive experience in food and beverage management, preferably in a resort, hotel, or high-volume venue
- Strong leadership and team development skills
- Excellent communication and guest service abilities
- Solid knowledge of food and beverage operations, cost controls, and staff management
- Experience with POS systems, scheduling tools, and Microsoft Office
- Must be available to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs dictate
- ServSafe and/or alcohol service certifications preferred
- Degree or diploma in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, or a related field is a plus
