Job Summary:
The Hotel Front Desk Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for guests and visitors, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience. This role involves managing reservations, handling guest inquiries, processing check-ins and check-outs, and providing excellent customer service to ensure guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guest Services:
- Greet and welcome guests upon arrival with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Assist with check-in and check-out processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Provide information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions.
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and courteously.
- Reservations and Bookings:
- Manage room reservations through phone, email, and online booking systems.
- Confirm reservations and process cancellations or changes as needed.
- Coordinate with the housekeeping team to ensure rooms are ready for guests.
- Administrative Duties:
- Maintain accurate records of guest information and transactions.
- Process payments and handle cash, credit card, and room charges.
- Keep the front desk area tidy and organized.
- Monitor and respond to emails and other correspondence.
- Communication and Coordination:
- Liaise with other departments (housekeeping, maintenance, etc.) to address guest needs and issues.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and management to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate's degree or higher in hospitality management or related field preferred.
- Experience:
- Previous experience in customer service or hospitality is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with hotel management software (e.g., Opera, PMS) is a plus.
- Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.

- Must be legally authorized to work in UAE.
