Job Title: Gym Supervisor

Job Summary:
The Gym Supervisor will be responsible for supervising gym staff, ensuring member satisfaction, overseeing facility maintenance, and implementing safety and cleanliness standards. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing fitness centers and coordinating facility management operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the gym and related wellness areas (e.g., sauna, steam room, changing rooms).
- Greet and assist residents, ensuring a professional and friendly atmosphere.
- Ensure proper use of equipment and enforce facility rules for safety and hygiene.
- Conduct daily inspections of gym equipment and coordinate timely repairs or servicing.
- Supervise cleaners or attendants to ensure high cleanliness standards.
- Maintain inventory of towels, cleaning supplies, and sanitization products.
- Monitor access to the facility, ensuring only authorized residents or staff use the gym.
- Respond to member concerns, feedback, and incidents in a professional and timely manner.
- Prepare incident and maintenance reports as needed.
- Assist in organizing small wellness initiatives or resident fitness activities.
- Monitor inventory of gym supplies and maintenance tools; place orders as needed.
- Comply with UAE health and safety regulations and tower management policies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Sports Science, Facility Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a gym or fitness facility supervisory role.
- Proven experience in facility or operations management, preferably in a health and wellness environment.
- CPR and First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire).
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in using gym management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Working Conditions:
- Shifts may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Physically active work environment; occasional lifting or moving of gym equipment required.
- On-call availability for facility emergencies.
