GYM SUPERVISOR

Job Title: Gym Supervisor

Salary: AED 3500 to AED 4000 (Plus Accommodation)

Job Summary:

The Gym Supervisor will be responsible for supervising gym staff, ensuring member satisfaction, overseeing facility maintenance, and implementing safety and cleanliness standards. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing fitness centers and coordinating facility management operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations of the gym and related wellness areas (e.g., sauna, steam room, changing rooms).
• Greet and assist residents, ensuring a professional and friendly atmosphere.
• Ensure proper use of equipment and enforce facility rules for safety and hygiene.
• Conduct daily inspections of gym equipment and coordinate timely repairs or servicing.
• Supervise cleaners or attendants to ensure high cleanliness standards.
• Maintain inventory of towels, cleaning supplies, and sanitization products.
• Monitor access to the facility, ensuring only authorized residents or staff use the gym.
• Respond to member concerns, feedback, and incidents in a professional and timely manner.
• Prepare incident and maintenance reports as needed.
• Assist in organizing small wellness initiatives or resident fitness activities.
• Monitor inventory of gym supplies and maintenance tools; place orders as needed.
• Comply with UAE health and safety regulations and tower management policies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Sports Science, Facility Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a gym or fitness facility supervisory role.
• Proven experience in facility or operations management, preferably in a health and wellness environment.
• CPR and First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire).
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in using gym management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Working Conditions:

• Shifts may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Physically active work environment; occasional lifting or moving of gym equipment required.
• On-call availability for facility emergencies.
