Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Human Resources Manager to join our dynamic Dubai-based team. The ideal candidate will bring a solid background in U.S. HR practices, with a strong understanding of Texas labor laws and regulations. This role is perfect for an HR professional with U.S.-based experience who is now located in (or open to relocating to) Dubai and eager to apply their expertise in a global context.
This position requires a hands-on leader who can develop and implement HR strategies that support organizational goals, ensure compliance with international and U.S. labor regulations, and help cultivate a positive, performance-driven workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee full-spectrum HR functions: talent acquisition, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and offboarding.
- Ensure compliance with U.S. federal, state (especially Texas), and local employment laws, while adapting policies to international operations where needed.
- Develop and implement HR policies and best practices aligned with company goals.
- Act as a trusted advisor to leadership and employees on HR-related issues.
- Manage employee benefits, payroll coordination (in collaboration with finance), and leave administration.
- Lead training, coaching, and development programs to drive employee growth and retention.
- Foster an inclusive, high-performance workplace culture aligned with the company's core values.
- Conduct employee investigations, conflict resolution, and handle disciplinary actions with professionalism and legal compliance.
- Maintain accurate and confidential HR records and systems (HRIS).
- Deliver HR metrics and reports to aid strategic business decisions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s or HR certification is a plus).
- Minimum 5 years of progressive HR experience, including at least 2 years in a managerial or senior HR role.
- Proven HR experience in the United States; knowledge of Texas labor law is strongly preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of U.S. employment regulations, best practices, and HR standards.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SCP certification preferred.
- Experience working in or with multinational companies is an advantage.
