We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced HSE Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and monitoring safety and environmental policies, ensuring compliance with local regulations, and promoting a safe working culture across all levels of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain HSE policies and procedures.
- Conduct risk assessments and enforce preventative measures.
- Ensure compliance with local, national, and international HSE regulations.
- Lead incident investigations and recommend corrective actions.
- Organize HSE training programs and toolbox talks.
- Prepare reports on safety metrics and performance.
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits.
- Promote a culture of continuous safety improvement.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Occupational Health & Safety or a related field.
- Certification in NEBOSH/IOSH or equivalent (mandatory).
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of local labor and safety laws.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in MS Office and safety reporting tools.
