Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Executive to join our Import & Export Sales team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships across international markets, and driving revenue through strategic sales initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in international markets for import/export products.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and international partners.
- Conduct market research to understand global trade trends and customer needs.
- Generate leads through cold calling, networking, trade shows, and digital outreach.
- Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and pricing structures to potential clients.
- Negotiate contracts, terms of sales, and payment agreements in compliance with global trade laws.
- Coordinate with logistics, documentation, and supply chain teams to ensure smooth execution of export/import processes.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance against targets and report to management.
- Stay updated on international trade regulations, customs laws, and compliance requirements.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 2+ years of experience in import/export sales or international business development.
- Strong knowledge of international trade procedures and documentation.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required.
- Foreign language skills (optional but preferred depending on the market focus).
