- Record all financial transactions accurately in the accounting system (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, or ERP).
- Maintain the general ledger and ensure entries are properly classified
- Prepare and process supplier payments, manage petty cash, and maintain payment records.
- Issue invoices, follow up on receivables, and reconcile customer accounts.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations to ensure accurate cash balances.
- Monitor cash flow, and report any discrepancies.
- Prepare and file VAT returns in compliance with Federal Tax Authority (FTA) regulations.
- Assist in preparing monthly payroll, including salary transfers (WPS - Wages Protection System compliance).
