Junior/ Assistant Pastry Chef
Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare and create a variety of French desserts such as macarons, éclairs, tarts, gourmet chocolates, and more.
- Mix and prepare doughs, creams, and batters with consistent quality.
- Operate mixers, ovens, and baking tools professionally and safely.
- Innovate new seasonal recipes and contribute creative dessert ideas.
- Manage baking times and temperatures precisely for each item.
- Decorate pastries with a high level of attention to detail and visual appeal.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the work area and sanitize tools daily.
- Monitor ingredient quality and ensure food safety at all times.
- Package and arrange desserts according to brand standards.
- Assist in tracking inventory and estimating quantities needed for production.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in preparing French and/or Arabic desserts.
- Strong passion for pastry and creativity in presentation.
- High attention to detail and quality.
- Ability to work under pressure and within a team environment.
- Flexible with working hours based on production needs.
