- Monitor Swimmers: Constantly observe swimming areas to ensure the safety of all guests and prevent accidents.
- Enforce Rules: Enforce pool and safety rules to maintain a safe and orderly environment.
- Respond to Emergencies: Act immediately and appropriately to secure the safety of guests in the event of an emergency.
- Administer First Aid/CPR: Provide first aid or CPR in the event of injury or life-threatening situations.
- Inspect Pool Area: Conduct regular checks of the pool area, including water quality, rescue equipment, and cleanliness.
- Maintain Reports: Complete daily reports, incident logs, and accident documentation accurately and promptly.
- Support Swimmer Safety: Provide guidance or assistance to swimmers as needed, especially children and inexperienced swimmers.
- Collaborate with Team: Work closely with other lifeguards and facility staff to ensure smooth operation.
- Attend Training: Participate in ongoing lifeguard training, drills, and certification updates as required.
- Promote Hygiene and Cleanliness: Ensure that pool areas, showers, and equipment are clean and sanitary.
