Aldar Education are currently seeking an outstanding Lead - Government Relations Executive to support our schools in Abu Dhabi.

The Government Relations Executive performs a variety of clerical and support work which supports school employees and school compliance in line with government and Aldar Education regulations and guides the school and company on any changes that may arise. The role will develop practices to help meet guidelines, monitor these practices and maintain all records required to ensure and certify compliance.
Main Duties:
- Proactively manage the MOHRE and ICP, ADEK processes in coordination with the GR Team (Head Office) and projects working with the School Principal office/HRO to ensure efficient and timely delivery
- Meets and observes a wide variety of guidelines and regulations set by Aldar Education, ADEK and other regulatory bodies.
- Spreads awareness of policies, procedures and guidelines between staff, students and parents to ensure a compliance culture within the school.
- To be up to date with all changes in ADEK,ICP,MOHRE admissions and registrations policies and procedures.
- Manage and coordinate all communications and requests from/to the ADEK.
- Liaises with ADEK and other governmental entities as necessary to ensure an effective and expedient communication, whilst building strong relationships.
- Provides information to and receive information from ADEK and to deal with associated requests appropriately.
- Be aware of and comply with policies and procedures relating to security, confidentiality and data protection, reporting all concerns to an appropriate person.
- Contributes to the overall ethos/work/aims of the school.
- Participates in training and other learning activities and performance development as required.
- Reports compliance issues and recommends solutions.
- Always ensures the highest levels of integrity and confidentiality
- Any other duties as directed by the Leadership Team as required
Specific Duties:
- Serves as an English to Arabic and Arabic to English translator for the school
- Translates key policies and documents from English to Arabic and vice versa including completion of Arabic documentation for ADEK
- Acts as an interpreter at parent-pupil meetings, as required
- Maintains the ADEK system including PD to ensure compliance
- Maintains and Monitors the ADEK pass “Staff information system” and follows up/reviews the school employees ADEK approvals issuance along with the communication with employees
- Ensures new employees are compliant with ADEK staffing policies including policy 26 for staff licensing and qualifications.
- Monitors the school current employees’ appointment letter ,visas , work permits expiration and ensures renewals taken place whilst communicating with employees on documents submission
- Ensures all school employees and external employees are registered on ADEK PASS system and have been issued an ADEK approval/appointment letters
- Follows up with employees on required documents to ensure compliance with ADEK system.
- Prepares and submit documentation for employee visa approvals (new & renewals) and liaises with Typist and Public Relations Officer if so to process on time.
- obtain the employees’ visa and labour contract to be compliant with the issued ADEK appointment letters.
- Liaises with HRO if employee fails to provide required documents to comply with ADEK PASS system.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Office Management or any related fields
Minimum Experience:
- 2+ years of proven experience in administration/HR or other relevant position at school preferably governed by ADEK/KHDA.

- Good Stress & Time management skills
- An understanding and knowledge of ADEK/KHDA legislation, MOHRE & ICP policies and procedures as well as inspection regime and requirements.
- Strong knowledge on MOHRE and ICP Rules and Regulations as well as systems and processes
- Valid UAE Driving License is preferred
