Position Overview:
EMS is looking for a Legal Assistant to support with on-going legal tasks. This is a great opportunity for a candidate looking to experience in-house tasks at a Multinational Corporation head quartered in London and work in the dynamic heart of Dubai. EMS Air Ambulance & Medical Repatriation Ltd is a renowned repatriation solution and the ideal candidate would be Common Law qualified and be exposed to working on legal matters based in multiple jurisdictions.
The Requirements:
Listed below are the minimum expectations for technical skills, experience, and qualifications that individuals need to meet to perform their roles:
Daily responsibilities will include:
- Drafting agreements, organising meetings, and taking ownership of the deadline timetable;
- Matter administration including communications, filing, document management, creation of 'know-how' documents, and closing of files;
- Ownership of business development tasks including the organisation of events, and record and database maintenance.
Qualifications:
- Completed Law Degree; a Master’s degree is an added advantage.
- Must be common law qualified.
- Previous experience working in an administration or support role within private practice or legal services.
- Excellent organisation skills with the ability to adapt and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work independently, with initiative, and delegate effectively, whilst also engaging with the wider team, and assisting others when needed.
- Demonstrated history of taking ownership of your work and processes with a curious and creative work approach.
- Willingness to work on weekends and night shifts
