1. Document Preparation and Management
You shall draft, review, and organize legal documents such as contracts, agreements, and other legal correspondence.
Ensure that legal documents are filed, stored, and easily accessible in both electronic and physical formats.
Assist with the preparation of legal briefs, motions, and other filings.
2. Legal Research
Conduct legal research to support cases, contracts, and regulatory matters.
Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and legal precedents that may affect the corporation’s operations.
3. Contract Management
Assist with reviewing, negotiating, and managing contracts and agreements.
Ensure that contracts are compliant with legal standards and internal policies.
Maintain contract databases and ensure deadlines for renewals or obligations are met.
4. Client and Stakeholder Communication
Act as a point of contact for internal teams and external legal counsel or clients.
Coordinate communication between lawyers, clients, and other departments.
Help prepare and manage communication related to legal matters.
5. Compliance and Regulatory Support
Assist in ensuring Meer Group is complying with relevant laws and regulations.
Help with preparing compliance reports and managing corporate governance documentation. Support the legal team in investigations or audits related to compliance matters.
6. Litigation Support
Assist with the preparation of case files for litigation or arbitration.
Help track deadlines, hearings, and filings related to ongoing cases.
Prepare evidence, discovery materials, and other related documents for trial.
7. Legal Team Coordination
Provide administrative support to the legal department.
Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate appointments for the legal team.
Assist with managing billing and expenses for legal matters.
8. Confidentiality and Security
Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive legal information with discretion.
Ensure that legal documents and communications are secure and properly stored.
9. Risk Management
Help in assessing and managing legal risks related to company operations.
Assist in identifying potential areas of legal concern and proposing solutions.
