Job Description
- Oversee the end-to-end export process, ensuring timely and compliant shipment of goods to international markets.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders to secure optimal shipping rates and routes that align with budgetary constraints and delivery schedules.
- Prepare and verify all necessary export documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, and certificates of origin to facilitate customs clearance.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with customs authorities, ensuring adherence to regulations and swift resolution of any issues.
- Monitor shipment statuses and proactively communicate updates to stakeholders, minimizing delays and enhancing customer satisfaction.
- Conduct regular audits of export processes and documentation to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with international trade regulations.
- Collaborate with sales and production teams to align export activities with business objectives and inventory management.
- Utilize logistics software to track shipments, analyze data, and generate reports that inform strategic decision-making.
- Manage and resolve any discrepancies or disputes that arise during the export process, ensuring a seamless experience for clients.
- Stay updated on global trade policies and market trends to anticipate challenges and leverage opportunities in international logistics.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in export logistics or international trade is required to ensure relevant industry knowledge.
