Responsible for setting up and operating machines and equipment to fabricate Tissue and Sanitary Napkins, products, and other Hygienic paper materials under the direction of the Team Leader. This role performs the more complex machining operations, including working with computerized equipment to support R&D and manufacturing.
What You'll do :
- Sets up and operates related equipment, often working within a tolerance of 0 defects with team leader supervision.
- Make necessary SKU changes, replace parts, adjust conveyors, heaters, folders, and other machine parts.
- Proper feeding of the new materials as per manufacturer recommendations and team leaders’ instructions.
- Solving minor breakdowns and reporting any breakdown to the line team leader.
- Make sure of the new raw material integrity of the machine and report any deficiencies to the team leader.
- Keep a record for each SKU setting to improve change over time.
- Efficient participation in any improvement project on the machine.
- Maintain the machine in safe and good condition.
- Performs any other duties assigned by the team leader.
- Occupational Health, Safety & Environment:
- Follow the HSE policy & and procedures, apply the SCD safety expectations, and wear the required PPE.
- Take care of your health and safety, and others who may be affected by actions at work.
- Communicate about unsafe practices and conditions.
What You'll need :
- 1-2 years of experience in the Paper/Tissue Manufacturing Industry.
- Strong knowledge of operating and safety procedures and standards.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of equipment and processes in his area.
