Responsible for maintaining the security and safety of the premises, its employees, and property. This involves monitoring security systems, patrolling the grounds, and responding to emergencies. They may also be tasked with controlling access, managing crowds, and enforcing rules and regulations. Key Responsibilities:
- Monitoring Security Systems: Watchmen use surveillance cameras and other security equipment to detect and respond to potential threats.
- Patrolling Premises:They regularly walk or drive around the factory grounds to identify any security breaches or safety hazards.
- Responding to Emergencies:They are the first line of defense in case of fire, theft, or other emergencies, and they coordinate with relevant authorities (police, fire department).
- Controlling Access:They manage entry and exit points, checking credentials of employees, visitors, and delivery personnel.
- Enforcing Rules and Regulations:They ensure that all individuals on the premises comply with company policies and procedures.
- Reporting Incidents:They maintain records of security breaches, unusual occurrences, and other relevant information.
- Assisting Employees and Visitors:They provide guidance and support to employees and visitors when needed.
- Crowd Control:They may assist in managing large groups of people during events or emergencies.
- First Aid:In some cases, they may be trained to provide basic first aid.
- Collaboration with Law Enforcement:They cooperate with police or other authorities in case of serious incidents.
